MUSKOKA COTTAGE

Opening up the space by taking down walls, reinstalling the original screened-in porch, and incorporating traditional double-hung windows helped save this classic 2,400-square-foot, turn-of-the-century cottage from a former dated renovation and bring it back to its majestic original self. A fresh Muskoka palette of pale pinks, aquas and blues — plus the introduction of folk art, quaint memorabilia and other treasures — imbued the cottage, owned by a family of four, with the charm and character that was always meant to be.
