Katherine Arcaro

Principal of Farrow Arcaro Design, Katherine Arcaro brings 15 years design experience to her role as Intern A.R.I.D.O. Interior Designer at Peaks & Rafters. Katherine studied interior design at the International School of Architecture and Design in Florence, Italy. With substantial experience in kitchen design and an expertise in renovation and new-build construction projects, she enjoys millwork design and space planning.

Design Philosophy:

Listening to the clients’ lifestyle and character is key when creating a space that truly feels like their own. Also, it’s vital to be sensitive to the physical surroundings when building a new home.

Favourite Design Element:

Space planning — improving the functionality of a space, whether it’s a new plan or an existing home, by moving walls or making the smallest adjustments.

Dream Design Job:

I’d love to renovate an old barn and turn it into a livable space.
